Question: Is it possible to revert the Microsoft Windows PC version of Just Cause 3 to version 1.01?

Notes: As you may have read, some users reported the version 1.02 patch for Just Cause 3 worsened their game performance, leading to a slew of "can I revert to a previous version of Just Cause 3" questions.

Unfortunately, Steam doesn't allow their users to revert a game to a previous version, nor do they offer an option to completely disable automatic updates for a particular game; with that said, there's a workaround that can stop Just Cause 3 from updating further if you follow these steps and force Steam to go offline:

1. Right click on Just Cause 3 in your Steam Library and select Properties.

2. Click on the Updates tab.

3. Under Automatic Updates, select only update this game when I launch it.

4. Click on Close.

5. Click on the Steam menu and select Go Offline.
