Rockstar Games has yet to announce a Microsoft Windows version of Grand Theft Auto VI, but that hasn't stopped us from speculating about what the PC version's system requirements might look like if the game eventually makes its way to the platform.

Drawing on Rockstar's previous experience with the PC port of Red Dead Redemption 2 and the hardware capabilities of the PlayStation 5, artificial intelligence has estimated that the game's potential PC system requirements could look something like this:

  • Minimum system requirements (about 1080p, 30 fps, low settings):[*]

  • GPU: GTX 1660 Super or RX 5600 XT
  • CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 or Core i5-10400

  • RAM: 16 GB

  • Storage: SSD required, roughly 150-200 GB

Recommended  system requirements (1080p, 60 fps, high settings; or 1440p, 30 fps, high settings):[*]

  • GPU: RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT

  • CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X or Core i5-12400

  • RAM: 16 GB

  • Storage: NVMe SSD

High-end  system requirements (4K, 60 fps, ray tracing, upscaling):[*]

  • GPU: RTX 4080 / 5070 Ti class or better

  • CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D or Core i7-14700K

  • RAM: 32 GB

  • Storage: NVMe SSD

Red Dead Redemption 2's system requirements were modest on paper, but its higher settings were punishing. Grand Theft Auto VI's bigger, denser world will likely do the same, especially in cities.

They should be treated as informed speculation, not confirmed or reliable predictions.

Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have not officially announced a PC release date, PC system requirements, or performance targets for Grand Theft Auto VI. Actual hardware requirements and in-game performance may differ significantly from these estimates and will depend on factors such as graphics settings, driver versions, game updates, optimization, and individual hardware configurations.
