Yes. But there's a price.
The KINGDOM HEARTS Collection has launched on the Nintendo eShop for Switch 2 at a reasonable price of $74.99. The collection includes the following three collections:
-
KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-.
-
KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue.
-
KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC).
Considering all three collections are currently on sale for $50.97 total on Steam, the $74.99 price tag isn't too outrageous. You can, of course, purchase each collection individually, but at $39.99 apiece, that adds up quickly. Now that is an outrageous price.
The three collections offer an impressive amount of content. For fans who only plays on Nintendo platforms, it’s an excellent opportunity to dive into this series without needing to purchase another console.
While these games were previously released on the original Switch, those versions were cloud-streamed and required an internet connection, with the games being streamed to your system through Nintendo's servers. These versions are being discontinued on June 9, 2027.
The Switch 2 versions, meanwhile, are native releases, meaning the games actually run on the console rather than being streamed. That's arguably the biggest improvement. You can finally play the KINGDOM HEARTS games on Nintendo hardware without having to worry about your internet connection, streaming quality, or the potential issues that come with cloud gaming.
The good news is buyers of these versions can receive a discount of 50% off the native Switch 2 version, bringing the price down from $39.99 to $19.99 for each individual title.
Meanwhile, if you own all three Cloud Versions, you can get the KINGDOM HEARTS Collection that includes all three titles for 50% off, bringing the price down from $74.99 to $37.49.
There's also good news regarding saves: Cloud Version save data can be transferred to the Switch 2 versions.
