Until an official estimate of that games total map size is revealed, I'm limited to listing the total map sizes of the previous "Risen" titles:

Risen 2: Dark Waters has a total map size of 29 square miles (approximately 75.1 square kilometers).
Opinions: I doubt that Piranha Bytes would release a new "Risen" title that's significantly smaller than the previous title in that series.
