Warning: There are major spoilers for the "Star Wars" series in this article.
It's rumored that Disney is negotiating with Ewan McGregor to reprise the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi for three films based on that character.
Fans was quick to speculate that rumored series would take place in-between Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars Episode IV:
A New Hope, during which time Obi-Wan guards over Luke Skywalker as he grows up.
I've always found it hard to believe that Obi-Wan spent the entirety of his self imposed exile on Tatooine after he won a dual against Darth Vader. How can a Jedi of his caliber spend 19 years simply watching over a child?
Shortly after watching Episode III, I've envisioned Obi-Wan spending a part of his hiding saving a few of his fellow Jedi Masters. I've also envisioned that character going on a top secret mission on Tatooine, which is 18 percent smaller than Earth.
Question: Should Disney produce a film trilogy focused on Obi-Wan Kenobi? Or should they limit that character to a single Anthology film?
