The service I've been waiting for!
GOG launched today a DRM-free movie store with 21 movies, all of which are currently selling for $5.99 each.
Most of their movies are in full HD 1080p quality, with the rest being 720p. They're also supplying 576p versions for low quality devices.
You can currently download The Art of Playing and TPB AFK: The Pirate Bay Away From Keyboard for free, so that you can test their movie distribution service.
Although none of the major studios took part in their launch, GOG mentioned that some of those studios are open to adding their content if the conditions are right.
DRM-free movies has the potential to be really awesome service. Imagine moving your movie from one device to another in a matter of seconds with no restrictions!
