Reception for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice isn't off to a good start. As of this writing, only 37 percent of 54 critics on Rotten Tomatoes (a review aggregator website) gave that film a positive score.
As a comparison, 87 percent of 328 critics on Rotten Tomatoes gave the last live action Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises, a positive score.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice marks Ben Affleck's debut as Batman. That film releases March 25, 2016 in the United States.
