Ichiro had 10 consecutive 200-hit seasons (2001 to 2010), the longest streak by any player in MLB history.
On August 7, 2016, Ichiro made the 3000th hit of his MLB career. Only 29 other players earned that achievement. If you include his Japanese NPB (Nippon Professional Baseball) stats, he made his 4,278th professional hit on that day.
